Christian Niedermeier has been a member of the Board of Directors at EDS Invest S.A. since December 2021 and Managing Director of REVOFAIR AG in Switzerland since 2017. He advises asset management companies, primarily in the areas of operational excellence, corporate governance (incl. financial market regulation) and product structuring (funds and securitisations).

As Chief Operating Officer at Swiss Alpha AG, a FINMA-regulated asset management company for collective investment schemes based in Switzerland, Niedermeier is employed from 2014 until the end of 2016. Here, among other things, he heads up overall operations and IT, and is responsible for risk management, compliance, corporate governance and finance & controlling. In parallel, he is a member of the Board of Directors for Risk Management at Swiss Alpha SICAV in Luxembourg.

From 2005 to 2013, Niedermeier was employed as an authorised signatory and Chief Investment Officer at Swiss Alpha AG. During this time, he is responsible for portfolio management, advisory, risk management and reporting for all funds and derivatives mandates, as well as collateral management for all of the company’s funds.

Prior to this, Niedermeier worked at HypoVereinsbank AG in Munich, first as a relationship manager, then as a portfolio manager in private banking.

Niedermeier graduated from the University of St. Gallen and the HSO Executive Business School in Zurich with a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Business Law and an Executive MBA. He obtained a trading licence at Deutsche Börse AG in Frankfurt and is a certified Eurex trader.
